I feel for you, that place is a crap hole and a half, been there twice because I wasn't smart enough to only get there once, because I needed fuel the second time, but after that, I made sure I was down the road to the Tumwater Pilot. I see from Google map they're building or have built (depending on age) a Flying J right there, too. Get your butt down there, Tacoma ain't where it's at for self respecting flatbedders. That's a hole for port rats. :)

Chevy has a school for the CTS V not sure about the Vette but it’s the same power plant so I don’t imagine it’d be a stretch to think they’d have a Vette driving school. I’d contact Bowling Green and see what they say. Cool ride by the way! That’s the biggest thing I miss about working at the Chevy dealer is test driving all the cool cars I didn’t have to buy.

The prey usually reveals it’s weaknesses voluntarily.

A few weeks ago in the racist thread, I gave the OP an example about how to play poker, and why he would never win anything playing the race card. I have been thinking of the way to word this in a new thread.

In the past, I have given the example of the used car salesman in how when you ask about the price of a car, they want you to come inside and have coffee and doughnuts, get you to like or trust them…

…all while they are planning to get your trade in and down payment without touching the price of the car. In other words, they got you to reveal all of your cards without showing any of theirs. Prepare for the porking.

Congratulations on the new ride. Remember the old saying long ago? Wrap your ass in fiberglass…?:)

2 seconds faster than one of it’s kinfolk. And probably a lot lighter than this hulk back then…

Once upon a time the Tacoma (Fife) Tideflats was the working man's district- log yards, mills, Hygrade (blech), Tacoma Boat, PlyTac
Western-R for SOS or a mudflap (one giant flapjack) breakfast and the waitress would fill your thermos on the way out. Black coffee, no triple-skinny-soy-no-whip-latte. Oh, the Poodle Dog too.
Yeah the hookers were behind the R, but well after dark.
Timco, South Side Brake & Clutch, Tacoma Diesel, Praxair, Hydraulics NW.....
I used to take the family down there to Brown & Haley twice a year (before Easter & Christmas) they'd have a "white box" miss-wrap candy (Almond Roca and such) sale at their warehouse.
With what has happened in those places sometimes I wonder if humans really deserve to survive as a species.

The LeMay car museum there is pretty cool. Made his fortune in hauling garbage.

Our Vette has a curb weight of 3,162 lbs. Only 800 lbs lighter, with a smaller engine and less torque at a paltry 470 ft-lbs.

That’s my favorite Chevelle! With the square tail lights and 4 headlights and popping the cowl induction hood open and seeing that Rat motor…rowing thru the gears Doing your best Ronnie “Mr. 4 speed” Sox impression. Man what a beast!
