More Bad News.....

IMO, the reason for supply chain crisis is because people/corporations are hoarding things, like opec is hoarding oil, china is hoarding electronic chips.

It is creating a artificial scarcity of goods so that they can sell for more profits, it will take few months to a year for the market correction.

Businesses who can Hold The Fort for the next few months will thrive in next few years.

I have been wondering if the shutdowns in China are more about killing the American economy than covid.

 

A buddy of mine with a brand new MC, never pulled a load, booked his first yesterday @ 8500$. I just delivered for 9300$. One earlier this month for straight 11k$. I see some changes and know it's coming, just gotta hit it hard while you can.

 

I'am not gonna get in a pissing match with you over that imaginary line in the sand about morals
I have very little sympathy for somebody that fails in this business especially somebody that jumped in in the last 3 years
If they fail its because of their own mismanagement...thats all there is too it .. If they are not smart enough to adapt and over come obstacles or don't have the mentality or foresight to look in to the future at how things might go .... Well ..F em their not meant to be in this industry.. let the sharks eat em

I would have to say those O/Os are fools. A smart carrier fights for top dollar no matter what and has a bottom line that if the rate dips below they are 100 percent ready to pass on.

There's a big difference between a lease op and an independent too. The overhead and regulatory issues are much different. You're either the hammer or the nail.
