OK just talked to Widow and she said it all went well, she sounded pretty dopey lol, and she is on some good drugs
She should be home on Saturday all going as expected.

 

my measly 7 pallet costco load delivers at 7:45 am tomorrow in Tracy, ca. Not gonna make it. I'm shut down 50 miles from the Grapevine because I-5 is closed. I qc'd that I can take the 14 N then 58 W and bypass the closure and make it on time, they said no. Good thing I left it on the qc. I MIGHT make it there before noon if I'm lucky.

 

They would rather have you sit, than risk an accident on a road that is open when there is a road that is closed. I'm pretty sure if they can figure out a way to wrap our trucks in bubble wrap they would do it.

 

Good luck with your schooling. I have the feeling that going to the local college for the course will turn out better for you, in the long run.

 

only if your single and living at home with mommie and daddy. theres no way to raise a family pay mortgages. car notes insurance, and all the other bills associated with a home sorry cant be done on $600 a month.

 

Will be in Conley tomorrow, probably do a 34 so I can get the truck into the shop so if anyone wants to say hi...

 

has the Conley training center started accepting students yet or are they still going to Salt Lake from these areas ?

 

widow is out of surgery and everything went well. shes real sore and resting now she should be back home by sat. yesterday i got all screwed up on my load my fm KNEWFOR A WEEK I HAD TO BE HOME WED NIGHT SO I COULD HAVE WIDOW AT THE HOSP BY 4AM THURS. well kraft took 14 hrs to load my load making me late forcing me to take a 10hr brk and not being able to get home in time. NOT AN OPTION!!!!!! so after talking with safety and my dispatcher that i had to be home and it was no way my fault that this had happend i was told we (central) do not condone running illegal and out of hours but since this is an emergency and you have to be home. GO but be very, very cautious and you are doing so at your own risk. so i went about 3 hrs into it qcommm starts going crazy with msgs from night disp STOP!!!! STOP NOW!!!! PULL OVER WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOUR GONNA GET THIS CO SHUTDOWN BY THE DOT... so i just kept going then about 30min from home i get a msg go directly to conley park the truck and do not leave till you have talked to someone inthe morn.
so i just kept it in the wind and went on home f um i said i havent checked the qcomm today ilol prob check it tomorrow if i feel like it. chances are there gonna fire me over it but f um family comes first not some stupid dot rules. not saying there all stupid rules they are there for a reason. but there need to be exceptions and exclusions for times like this.
