Wouldn’t be right if there wouldn’t a blizzard at some point during the week

From the business side of things the issue I had with grounds was the trash/recycle folks would not take them in a yard waste bin.

If they were to take the grounds in a food waste bin it would have been higher cost per cube than a cardboard bin, which was higher cost per cube than a generic trash dumpster. Was more cost effective to throw all the stuff into the trash rather than recycle it. They also wanted to fine me for throwing away recyclable cardboard even if it was food stained/freezer dampened so not recyclable. Was one of many multi round fights I had with the county and trash service. Actually felt sorry for the trash folks cause they got dragged into the battles with the county and were stuck in the middle.

On site storage for the extra bins was also an issue. Shopping center I was in was built in the 50's, not set up for trash/recycle services as implemented in 2010. Trash trucks barely fit down the alley where the dumpsters were.

And I agree the more significant issue is the not food waste/composable stuff but recyclable plastic that is marked as recyclable is major issue. But that is an entire different political discussion with roots back in the '60s when the just mark things as recyclable even when it is not practical/cost effective.

Current hot button topic for me is the trash companies don't want glass bottles in the recycle bin out here. Bottles were busting in the compactor trucks and too many trash employees were getting injured from broken glass. But you can swing the bottles by the transfer station for free if you would like. And then they wonder why the percentage of tons of waste that gets recycled has gone down.

Wow, where to start on this. The part that is confounding is the money, the cost and the expense from all sides. Been down this road, a well worn path. One of the big problems is peoples perception of things. The general public has no clue.

Would not be so bad if the Municipalities and political folks had a clue, but most don't have a clue either. And most seem to have no desire to get a clue.

    The truck has stopped.

    DEEP INSIDE THE COMMUNIST STATE.

We are in proximity to THE NEST, but not too close.

Like if the actual NEST were the bullseye to the right of the T........

    T__H__E__N__E__S__T

We're in the first T. The OM feels like normal posting is appropriate.

We shall approach the receiver under the cover of darkness, using speed and stealth.

Put the grounds down the sink, even disposal. Keeps it clean I heard. True? Who knows. Maybe bad for a septic system? I don’t know. I just throw them out, occasionally they go down the drain. Sounds rediculous that they’re not allowed in the trash. Crazy Times.
