Sure can tell when someone has never driven a Pete before. This shop kid has this new long nose Pete jumping all over the parking lot. "Turn the jakes off!" I yell. He slams on the brakes. "What?" He asks. I step up and turn the jakes off
and give him a quick lesson on smooth operation of a Pete. "Thank you! I thought I was going to wreck it!" He says. Yeah, so did I, I think to myself.

 

Got to love not being able to figure out an issue. At my wits end on this shake and at the point of replacing all the drives. Alignment has been done with no improvement. Mechanic checked it and he can't find anything. Carrier bearings been replaced.

Only shakes around 75 loaded and 60 bobtail. Empty trailer it's smooth as glass. New tires go on next week or beginning of week after. If it still shakes idk where else to look.

 

What would April 27th in Challis ID be without a full blown blizzard??

I've been hunting one in ours forever. Heard it could be the slip yoke, so that is getting checked when it goes to the shop tomorrow. Might be something you want to look into.

 

Man, it seems like you load the parts cannon on issues pretty quick. What kind of shake, where do you feel it.
