    I have walked around in the Class 6 store at Ft Eustis several times. Honestly, I can buy most items from the VABC store pretty much at the same price. Sadly I can no longer imbibe. I even have to be careful with meds that have alcohol in them.

    Guy hit his air starter one time when I was walking in front of his truck. 1st time I had ever heard one and I'm sure he knew it. Almost crapped my pants.

    I went to the butcher and told him to cut me 2 ribeyes, 1 1/4" thick and off of the big end. He said ok, but you are going to have sticker shock. Came to $68. Was going to grill them today, but won't get back from where I deliver in Fayetteville in time. So tomorrow for sure.

    There is a retired Air Force major and his lovely wife that lives in the next building. The wife and Keri are as I type this over on Langley AFB looking for steaks. I have a feeling I will know when my card gets run because it will groan. With that tank of gas, I expect Ker will go through $100 just for those two items.

    What a monster to get to this place.

    Lost two tenths going like 100 miles. Considered stopping due to that motherless F wind.

    I was not far off! I just looked at my bank account. $37.77 at the base c-store and $123.27 at the Commissary. When I can see the receipt I will know exactly how much the Steaks were.

    Yes, I know that should have been a buck marker for the gas, but I can see past that marker.
