First off, I want to apologize in advance if this needs to be in another thread or group. I wasn’t sure exactly where it would fit in.
I have been looking into getting back into the trucking industry for some time now. I have done my research and have finally decided on a company.
I was in the industry briefly (approx 2 months) when I had to quit due to family issues. After I got out of the Air Force, I joined Roehl through their Honor Program back in 2007. There was no commitment through this program. About 2 months in, I reached out to my FM and asked what I needed to do to quit the right way. She told me that I would be routed to Atlanta to turn all of my equipment in. I went to Atlanta and did just that. I handed all of my cards and keys to one of their personnel and asked if I needed to do anything else. They said I was good to go.
Now let’s fast forward 15 years and my recruiter now tells me I’m not hireable at this time because Roehl has me down as terminated-involuntary.
First off, I thought they only went back 10 years?
Second, my recruiter gave me a website where I could dispute that through driveriq.
I actually spoke with someone a few hours ago to get that dispute started.
My question is has anyone else ever been in this type situation? Has anyone ever had to get something disputed through driveriq? Does anyone know how good they are about handling disputes? The question I am really interested in is in your own opinion, how likely do you think I might have my dispute turned into voluntary?
I appreciate any and all thoughts on this matter as well as any advise to help my situation.
I have a slight hiccup…need advise

I have a B class, but not an A. I’m currently a school bus driverAnother Canadian driver and Chinatown Thank this. -
Why are truck companies so scummy that they have to do crap like this? They're like the ex-girlfriend who keys your car.

Man that's a tough break, it sounds like you may have to start from scratch and get in order to get it updated to back to class A. What company did you settle on?

I did receive a document from Tenstreet (the company Roehl uses). That form says I did quit. Reason was left blank. Rehirable says review. I’m thinking my dispute may turn out in my favor. Let’s all hope so anywayAnother Canadian driver, bryan21384, drvrtech77 and 1 other person Thank this.
