Ever get/try one of them land locked/fresh water salmon? Supposed to be a good eating fish. Have yet to get ahold of one.

Yep— 2 ways I’ve done it — day of the catch, clean up real good in fresh cold water and either stuff the cavity with butter, lemon, sweet onion and spice however—I do salt, pepper and garlic powder— wrap in tin foil and put it on the the grill or camp fire till you see steam or build a brine and soak it for a couple days and smoke it— secret is to keep as cold as you can without freezing and clean it really good

686 miles down today. Over the last week and a half we've averaged 6.4mpg at ever fill up. The ole Kenny whopper is running better than when I got it. Nearly 1mpg gain has me really impressed considering its got slightly better aerodynamics than a brick and the wagon grabs alot of air being taller than the cab. 2mpg gain over the classic sure is nice with fuel these days. I definitely miss the cool factor that old truck carried. Don't miss the 4.5 mpg though.

Always been curious about those whale tails. Wonder if that would make any difference? Prolly not being my cab to trailer distance is pretty high.

She got a bath today too. Should've gotten a picture but was a little behind the 8 ball for my reload tomorrow and hoped to get up here and get empty before my nap. That's not looking so good right now. Of course I ran into some rain the same day I let the streakin beacon get ahold of it.

Got to looking at the tires earlier while fueling and just about all of them have some very funny wear patterns. Some have cupping on about every 3rd inside tread block, some have diagonal cupping across the better part of the tread. It likely was ran quite a bit with a bad alignment and worn out shocks. Fresh alignment and new shocks and new tires next week, then spring pin bushings for the front and hopefully all will be well.
