Been out here long enough to know that the speeds need to be reduced. My opinion.

I for one will be writing in support of it.

Hopefully next it is driver facing cameras in all trucks.

Why stop at 62mph? Let's mandate all trucks be limited to 35mph, require a 30min break every 2 hours and a 15 hour break after an 8 hour duty day. Oh and of course driver facing cameras! Oh and no more 2 years for DOT physicals. They should be renewed every 3 months and require drivers to be fully vaccinated and driver facing cameras should be used to ensure drivers are masked at all times while alone in the truck cab you know for safety. Hey, if you're going to troll you may as well go all out.

Not trolling. 62 mph and driver facing cameras will suffice. Will make it safer out here.

Pretty sad what I witness everyday.

Yeah, I also get saddened by all the accidents being caused by rookies in governed mega fleet trucks many with driver facing cameras @YumDinger

Do you have the evidence to back that up?

    I see the opposite.

Try running cattle and hogs down the same alley in a stockyard. Will be vividly apparent to you. Da hogs get run over..

Yeah, all the Swift jokes and memes everywhere. Best in Crash! Humor is usually based in observation. Add to it that accidents have gone up in recent years not down.
