Tall shifters , the truth

If I put in a super tall shift lever to reach the radio in the overhead do I get a passs?

 

I watched a idiot 6 mths ago spend a full.day and 600.00 putting a tall Shifter in his truck only to figure out when he was done he couldn't get his truck to go into reverse because the shifter was hitting his steering wheel

 

I have never figured out how those tall shifters always make the air ride seats inoperable. Anybody know?

Air ride seats and mechanical injection pumps with fat throttle shafts don’t get along. Brap,brap, brap, brap, brap! All day long no matter how you try to lock in your right foot. Lol!

Some folks don’t realize have to start with the stick in reverse or in the gear that is under the wheel and build it to fit accordingly.

 

There's a long story evolved behind that post.. way to much to post .. best way to sum it up in short is he was a idoit

 

Never tried one like that but it looks kind of cool to see the top of the stick up a little higher than the window line. Having it a little higher could be more comfortable for some.
