I am down in MS picking at Taylor tomorrow going to Farmington NM

then probably bounce home and play golf for a week unless there is something great when I get there

 

Sounds like a great plan.

 

So Mom goes to sleep snuggled up to Mac and wakes up snuggled next to Tiny. Then sleepily mumbles, what am I a bag of potatoes? Her smart aleck lawyer pipes up with, yeah, a bag of sweet potatoes. She snorts and the room is filled with male, relieved, laughter.

She then gives me the fake ugly mad face. Where is my coffee Marine? 3 men stand up to bring back 9 cups of coffee and with luck a bowl of oatmeal that will be eaten and stay ingested.

Before we can clear the door the nurse rolls in with a wheel chair needing to take Mom to the ice bath. Her attorney slides over to the nurse, making hand gestures to us to to get coffee -now-. He explains to the nurse that she will receive much better compliance from Mom, if she is allowed to at least have her first cup of coffee. The nurse agrees and will be back in an hour after she has had lunch and updated charts.

She is now sipping her coffee while making yummmm sounds. Not looking forward to the ice bath though. With her arthritis, the ice bath ought to hurt like heck. .

Hoping she is on the mend and best wishes, but I think I’d rather be shot in the head with something large caliber than to take an ice bath

That is pretty much what she thinks as well.

 

You and us a well. Mom started to hum that Johnny Cash song about the multi year Cadillac.

 

This has not been a happy occasion, but we are able to take a crap and wash clothes with being in fear of a basement flood— yard cleanup and restoration should be complete tomorrow and the peaceful life can continue

 

i got it one piece at a time and it didnt cost me a dime !!
