I don't think sitting low in the cab is an issue except if your air seat is not working you will eventually hurt your spine, they make shorter seat bases so the air ride works within the range you want or need to sit.
For you long haul guys a long shifter may not be uncomfortable to work with because you don't shift that many times a day in the dump business I counted the number of times we move the stick a day by counting the number of shifts done per round trip, many days we are shifting the stick 800 times a day plus all the split shifts.
The Lowbed works mostly local so yesterday 4 loads and 230 miles with lots of shifting for, Monday 1 load 250 miles round trip very little shifting.
I like the old round Crome shift handle it fit my hand well.
this was one of yesterdays moves.

I'd like to see someone build a supertrucker toilet that's a foot off the floor with a flush lever extension reaching up a good ways overhead...

It's just more comfortable like that...

I mean they kind of exist already in most truckstops, they're missing the extended flusher though.

You ever ended up having to use the kiddie stool? The stall door is just about a visor.

    bigguns and LameMule Thank this.
