I am looking fixing up a 1986 W900 to be my daily driver.
However, the cab and sleeper are both mounted directly to the frame.
Did anyone make an after market subframe kit to mount the cab and sleeper to for a cab air ride conversion?
Or if anyone has already done this did you make plans or copies?
I just done want to reinvent the wheel.
I hope some one has done it and would like to share.

I’ve always thought the air ride cabs were annoying with all the bouncing
air ride drive axles though , that’s what makes the difference .
I don’t know if anyone makes a kit
But you will have to connect the cab and sleeper together with a subframe , add hinges the front
And make sure the wires and air lines are re routed so they don’t chafe , -

Thanks for your input. It does habe air ride on the suspension.
I just like the extra cushion of an air ride cab. Most cab air rides use a flex mount towards the front and air bags on the rear mounts.

Thanks for the info, I am going to start on my project next month. I will check into the factory setup.
Sharp looking truck.
Have you done much to the inside of the cab? Interested in any updates you might have done.
