All depends on the customer actually. Some require the driver to load and unload, others have their own operators or warm bodies in some cases, to load / unload it….

To be honest, I prefer to load the equipment on my trailer, many just cowboy the hell out of things, and that tends to piss me off and get me in a bad mood when I see my trailer getting abused needlessly….

What happens as an O/O if they damage anything or you do while loading or unloading? Whether it be the trailer, tractor, or equipment you are hauling?

Stuck on I-75 Northbound just barely over the state lane into Tennessee coming from Georgia. Gotta love it! 20220511_135155.jpg 20220511_134546.jpg 20220511_134533.jpg 20220511_135524.jpg

I refuse to load/unload. I can do it but I don't want the liability if something gets damaged.

What pisses me off, is the jacklegs that crawl up on the front of the trailer with a track machine knowing it’s not straight, then trying to twist and steer while the tracks destroy the ramps on the trailer.

I try not to be an ###… but coming from nothing I try to take care of my equipment….

And then you got the one dumba## four wheeler because you always got to have one of them in the crowd that decided to pass everyone after their lane ended which was merging into ours and cut off another trucker. If I was driving I would've blocked that idiot so he couldn't pass anyone.
Do you not get as many loads then?

jamespmack, MOBee, cke and 1 other person Thank this.
