I jumped off a good high cliff quite a few years ago , and I didn't hit the water proper . I broke my back , the water was like concrete. That was my last jump. I am very lucky.

1995, Pruitt, Arkansas, Route 7, Buffalo River (National Scenic) Park, Public Areas for picnics, camping, swimming.
Roughly 40' Cliff on one side (Looked like 40' at top), water about 25' deep (guess), Had to Jump OUT from cliff base or no second jump. Did it 3 times and 4th time Right Foot (had Flip-Flops or Thong Sandals) Hit rock that aware was, I wasn't.
Jumped with eyes closed at water impact. Opened under surface to see Large, Long Rock.
Exited water.
Supposedly that area of Water Activity (cannot locate on Giggle Maps) has a under water Cavern Entrance (though I'm sure there are many such entrances), though I was NOT interested.
It Was Fun Till It Wasn't.
NOT ONE PERSON DOVE FROM CLIFF, at least not the one day I was there.
