Adjust your following distance. It isn’t a car. Accept that four wheelers will cut you off. Lots of insane crap happens in this job.

Me too. I call it "the go point," because once I reach that point I'm going through the intersection regardless of what the light does.

@Florescent-android92 you did just fine, don't be discouraged. This experience will help make you a safer and better driver. Also, in addition to learning "the go point" that I mentioned above, always expect four-wheelers to do dumb stuff.

Just pay attention to stale green lights and be prepared to stop. Remember most car drivers are too stupid to realize it takes a truck a longer distance to stop. No reason to quit, it takes time to learn. We’ve all had close calls like that

I think the stupid ones that don’t realize it takes a truck much longer to stop are not the 4 wheel drivers. A lot of size 3 hats being worn in trucking.

If you want to learn you can be better than most.
    Practice make perfect.
If you have pride in what you do and want to get better.
    You'll get better.
    Remember:
Anything a man can do, another man can too.
Except for the ballet. I'm not going in that direction.
    NO, NO, NO.
