We have stopped for a splash of fuel, and inject The OM.

They have chicken and coffee ready. This is extraordinary good.

The OM said that's a baby anaconda.

    Old days vs new...
Came into Elberton, GA, 2 AM,1st signal at corner of square red. Take off nearly straight up and getting sleepy. 1st gear and up level and a nice open space to right. Pulled over and aligned and felt a sort of bumpy ride a few feet but shut down and slept. Awakened; sun was up, man beating on my door. Cracked window to converse. Pull up, you are siting on my scale pit...Uh, OK... Mirror showed my front tandem sitting on the cross tie they had in the pit slot to fill when not in use. Was the bump I felt as parking. So, the young law abiding fool I was I asked...You want me to pull up to weigh back axle?
Reply was and I quote.. "Hell no, you can't overload a tandem in GA", move it on out.... Little did he know. IH L190 single axle, 34' Fruehauf tandem trailer, carying 75 bales of compressed cotton. Loaded at Federal Compress-Sledge,MS and they never pressed a bale less than 550 lbs. So I easily had 41K on board. Usual load was expected to be 62/63 bales @ 500 avg around <32K and OK for gross. Rolled on to Gastonia thanking GOD for the BIG favor...
