Mihara Transfer, Inc is currently looking for the right individual(s) to complete our team in Hilo and Kona. Candidates should possess a current CDL Class A or B license and PUC Physical (Medical Examiner’s Certificate). Experience is a plus but we are willing to train.

Drivers responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Deliver goods to customers, job sites and private residences
• Complete driver time logs and delivery receipts

Normal Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30a-4:30p. Some overtime required as work load varies week to week.

The culture is great, we try to address all drivers by name. I am not sure what the actual training time is. I will check with training tomorrow and get back to you. We do not do Tanker or hazmat, but I keep my endorsements just in case.
We have a lot of drivers from Colorado, and have many options and lanes. OTR, local, regional, mostly 11 western, but there are other lanes. I work in breakdowns now, but used to love driving the Golden to Montana and back or down to Utah.

Steve, I just talked to our training supervisor and he said 6-8 weeks or 300 hours with a trainer. We have some good trainers here.
