    Me too, so far.
    I would love a change.
    Maybe car-hauling.
    Maybe tanker.
Maybe stick to reefer, since I'm good at it.

Can I apply for a membership now?
    Do I need references?

The only answer should be GFY.
    With a Black #####.
And I'm being extremely polite here.

    That's easy.
I'll ask my Ukrainian girlfriend to do it.

I totally agree with that “ no junk “ part

I had a flooring business for 25 years before this. Had 20-30 crews and we had a certain level of expertise we required and we were about 3x higher than anyone else
We had a under promise over deliver attitude

    Now to trucking.
same. Have always had nice trucks and if I’m ticked off I don’t need that guy on the forklift who has no say to have to hear about it
    Or the shipper or receiver
If I do have issues I take it to the person signing my check but even issues aren’t as big of a deal when you’re not hauling for that $1pm

I have had companies tell me just on my truck and attitude that if I ever want to run direct to let them know
Some. Not all will pay for a look and professional
but you don’t want all the jobs. Just the good ones

Simple. All those companies have strength in numbers. They have customers too. They also have been around forever. I am.notnsure how long you've been working for yourself, but i know it can be tough for those getting started. That's not to say you can't find 3 bucks per mile on the spot market. I think the most successful operators have a willingness to run anywhere, basically they follow the money. Some have running lane preferences, but if a big money load comes up that may take them out of their normal lanes or comfort zone, the smart business man will take it. I've talked to some owners over the years that pigeon hole themselves to one area, sometimes an area gets oversaturated with trucks.
