Every one has a different quark to it. It just takes experience from learning the hard way. So far for Irwin has been the most streamlined in my experience. 29 palms can be horrible, especially the old white haired dude in the shipping office. Total Richard cranium.

As long as everything is touching - secure the on-edge stuff first as normal. For the flat, choker on front and back. The section of strap going to the passenger side needs to go UNDER the on-edge stuff.

Then build a bulkhead. It's doubtful you'll get trips to "stick".

If it were me, I would have changed their loading process. Put the stuff in the middle, on the passenger side. Then the stuff on the passenger side, I would put in the middle. Leave the flat stuff alone. That crazy arch from the stuff on the passenger side would make a good trip/bulkhead for the flat stock, if it were in the middle.

Either way, it's doable as is.

Doesn't hurt. But I'd use straps on the flat chokers, if you have the edge protection.

As long as you have the dunnage to build a bulkhead, you can get away with a lot on that load.

Oh, he's golden. If a driver has the brains in the first place to throw a choker, he's probably going to be fine.

Like GPD suggests, and I see behind his landing gear he has the dunnage, to make sure he puts those headers up, front and back, just to make sure to encapsulate that load. :)
