Already sent my polite comments to fmcsa even tho I know they couldn't care less what we think and it's probably already a done deal .
I've pretty much had it with federal agencies and won't be complying.

You already had 1 foot in the door anyhow ..since you run scales in Illinois and run cover for bull haulers .. But welcome to the world of Outlaws
FYI... we don't drink Budweiser here so your gonna have to clean out your refrigerator in your man cave

Oh I got an answer for that.

Put a mechanical CAT between the frame rails.

The closest my stuff gets to having an ecu is if something with one is parked next to it. Everything I have and I mean everything except 2 cars ( 1997 and 2014) and one truck (1999) is 100% mechanical. All our 80’s cars have had the OBD crap bypassed over the years. Even running 40+ year old Ford/Newholland tractors on regular basis.
Just registered the ‘97 Chrysler as antique so it is now exempt since it just turned 25 this year. The ‘99 FL will be 25 in two more years and as far as Texas is concerned will be exempt and qualify for antique non cdl registration then.
And yes the check engine light has been on for years in my ‘97 chrysler. Pretty much since it was new. It is a chrysler after all. Lol!
