What about texting with just the number pad on a flip phone?

Talking about old stuff, some of the names of towns have changed over the years how it's pronounced. Montrose is the next town over from me and the county seat. All the people that have been around here for generations pronounce it mont-rose since it sits on top of a mountain. But almost everyone else says it mon-trose

In Canada, we change names of places because racism lol.

I'm not certain, but I believe the first phone I had that could take pictures was a flip yet. Horrible, horrible picture quality. Pretty sure it's the same camera systems used today in banks.

I tend to prefer a wet/marinade prior to the grill. 12 hours at least, 24 is better.

Sales? What are these sales?

I've been going to Clio, SC pretty regularly now for a few years. Everyone here has always called it "Clee-oh" when I guess the proper pronunciation is Cly-oh. I've been trying to say it "correctly" but it just feels weird. Normally I'd just chalk it up to "I'm not quite right in the head", but I picked up a brokered load this weekend, and both the shipper AND the broker called it Clee-oh as well lol. Broker even said she knew it was Cly-Oh, but it felt wrong to say it haha. We're a funny bunch, us humans.
I wouldn't mind living down there, but my pronunciation would just have to be accepted and approved by the locals. Not that I'd know, I can't understand their accents most of the time anyway lol. -
No. They never teach us that in schoolJoeyJunk, exhausted379, cke and 5 others Thank this.
