    Hard to tell what I'm looking at. Is that just a compuchek fitting off the governor bolted to the dryer?

    Maybe a high pressure safety switch? Never saw one on a governor. Exhaust port already acts as high pressure switch.

    Almost looks like the safety pressure relief valve but hard to tell from the angle of the picture.

    I would unscrew it and replace it with a regular Schrader type air valve.
    That way you can air it up anywhere if needed.
