Physically I’m still fine with tarping. We were doing more long distance stuff, Ohio to Florida or Texas and it was load one day, drive two, load maybe reload same day drive two and done. That wasn’t hateful but one of our big shippers started giving us shorter stuff that had better rates. Tuesday is a prime example. Load 0600, drive 1.50 hours, unload, drive back, reload and go 5 hours or so. That translates into tarping or untarping three times in one day. , 4 or 5 times a week. That adds up to a lot of hours. If I can squeeze in one extra load a week by eliminating tarping it’ll pay for itself
