If you proceed with your plan, could you document it? I personally don't have any plans on running to save MPG, but I do like looking at numbers. Hell, you might change my mind even.
What's the absolute optimum speed for fuel mileage?

Like - if you pick up in Ohio on Wednesday, you sure aren't making it to Cali by Friday. And Monday delivery = lazy run.Dadetrucking305, ProfessionalNoticer, Rideandrepair and 5 others Thank this. -

65mph - meh. Fuel savings statistically insignificant, and you get stuck among company trucks trying to pass you at +0.25mph
62mph - nice. Confirmed 1.5 - 2mpg savings, and the Swift drivers get a confidence boost getting to actually pass somebody
60mph - whoa. I'm getting over 10mpg with lightish loads. Just did North Platte Nebraska to Denver, uphill, no wind, 15000lbs - 10.6mpg! I get worse mileage than that in my 2002 Silverado with the horse trailer.
But - it's starting to feel weird, everybody is flying by me, even the Swift drivers. I'm not going any lower than this. -
My first attempt to communicate with the receiver failed.
I was not born in their Galaxy. After mucho per favor and muchas gracias Senor,
a Monday morning delivery was scheduled. Loaded equipment lft in their care with the bills signed.
A $5 taxi got me to the Ontario airport and I rented a brand new Ford Crown Vic for the week-end.
In July 2001. I drove that car everywhere on the coast until Monday 8 AM.
Down to San Diego and Up to SF.

My latest touristy experience was actually in your neck of the woods last month. Got to Toronto a day early, it was Sunday. Customer is near the Pearson Airport, so I walked over and took Pearson Express train downtown. Walked around a bunch, ate beavertails (dangerous), took the ferry boat to the weird island where all the hippies live. Good times. Didn't get to go up the CN tower though they wouldn't let my dog in.Dadetrucking305, Siinman, Rideandrepair and 3 others Thank this. -

Maybe I'm just biased because I had to drive those #### things as a cab driver back in the early 2000s and they were terrible. Steering so loose and vague, trying to keep it straight on the highway was like herding a cat with a stick. I was so happy when they got us Camrys instead.alds, Dadetrucking305, Another Canadian driver and 3 others Thank this.
