Grilldenser!

If your cac is mounted on top of the radiator you probably won't have to change the grill. Our 98 was mounted on the bottom and it was just rubbing the condenser. We used the original shroud. Don't remember the part # for condenser but it's the same one thats on my 99 give you the vin

 

Yep thats it. You might be ok then with still using the old grill. Ours is the complete opposite. With the trans cooler mounted at the top of radiator. The problem we ran in to is the new condenser being mounted at the bottom of the radiator was just rubbing the very bottom of the new condenser. Lots of room at the top of the radiator. Because if you need to you can pull the top back alitte by adjusting the radiator supports.

 

Use that vin for the 99 to get the correct mounting brakets.

 

His 99 is the exact same as parts list that I attached. Still haven't gotten reply from parts technical support.

 

Yes that's the vin. hoses probably depending where your compress and dryer are located might be able to use that vin for some of them. if your dryer is located on the top driver side of radiator That would get you the line from the dryer to the condenser. Easiest would be to have them made.

 

It’s amazing how much better, with way less moisture my 91 cools with R-134a condenser and evap cores. It was always swampy feeling with the original R-12 pieces.

 

Go old school and roof mount the condenser!
