Because I pay my own insurance. I gave you the gross to the truck after lease. You must have missed earlier in your thread where I said I have my own truck and bailee insurance. I guess you could also say they didn’t deduct my truck payment too. Lol

As far as 4000 in a week, a little more than I prefer most of the time but the round was put together when I loaded west.

It’s comical to me at this point. I’m happy I don’t have to search for loads. I’m happy that a lot of my rounds are put together before I leave out. I’m happy I don’t have to deal with brokers. I’m happy we get cost plus a nickel at PFJ. But I guess I’m doing it all wrong.

A great old statement made to me back in the middle 50's.. Roger, don't let some fool drive your truck, by telling you how to.
Note, it was a given I had enough sense to filter the word I got, an enough judgement to make my own decisions.

That would be a deal put together on its' merits by the man handling the truck; with good judgement on what is practical, and what he can offer in return for these benefits. Some times a man has to realize when he is "well off" and just ride the horse onward at a canter. Steady as she goes for sailors...

Having the week planned before you even leave is the way to do it when you can.

    Siinman Thanks this.

Right up until something falls apart. Lol. But it is pretty nice having 2 or 3 loads stacked up on the app when you’re loading the outbound load.

Siinman and Rubber duck kw Thank this.
