FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Just out of curiosity did it say for what position? The reason I ask is it seems like the drivers that do the dedicated KC - St. Louis either quit, or go back to SW regional. That lane must be screwed up.

 

I've been hearing that ad a lot the last week or so myself. Pretty cool to hear on the radio. But at the same time I'm not sure I like it. Id kind of Like to see us remain a small company no one knows about

 

From what I understood at one time about that lane is that it "starts" around 1500, or whenever load is ready. Not sure if it's still that way.

 

I’m not sure if it ever worked out as intended but one of the other dedicated drivers was told that what arrived today was picked up tomorrow. But I also know another driver was waiting for me to arrive a couple times so that didn’t fit the plan.

But that is all hearsay

At this point I think Pepsi in St. Louis should just fire their entire shipping crew and start over

 

They can’t even do the most basic thing in warehousing…that is pathetic.

 

My thoughts exactly. When your loads consistently can not make it 250 miles, it might be time to do some rethinking on how it’s shipped.
