Well, I'm glad nobody did ask you, but since you brought it up...

How many company drivers have you talked to that have ever worked for MCT? Let me answer that for you, it is ZERO. MCT does not employ ANY company drivers. It is a 100% owner operator company comprised of mostly fleet owners who hire drivers. Granted, there may be some less than desirable fleet owners leased on to MCT, but you cannot cast a shadow upon the carrier for the way some fleet owner treats his employee drivers.

With that being said, comparing MCT to JB Hunt in any way is an apples to oranges comparison and is downright laughable. MCT has between 500 and 600 trucks running under their authority. If they were even close to as bad as you imply, there would be numerous threads full of stories about how bad they are in the "Bad Companies" section of this forum, which there aren't. Their turnover rate is 1/3 of the national average historically and probably 1/5 of what JB Hunt's would be. Their safestat and ISS-D scores are excellent and they have several ATA National Independent Contractor of the Year winners whom are leased to them along with numerous past State Truck driving championship winners. Their roster of contractors AND employee drivers are chock full of people with 10 or more years of safe driving with the company and dozens with 20 or more years. All of that in a 500-600 truck fleet? I would say that they are doing something right, and it sure isn't mimicking JB Hunt.

You are absolutely entitled to your opinion but when you drag a respected name through the mud with no facts to support your stance, you are just showing your true colors.

Once a year? I'm not much of one to ##### or complain in such hard time's but no thank you. I have a family life too. After pulling 6 1/2 months solid during training before coming home with Prime for that BS pay, I wouldn't have done it other than it was my last resort to getting my CDL.

I might have gone too far with the JB reference but anyone can do a google search and find numerous tales of woe from drivers who drove for MCT.

Regardless of that, even if everyone is lying through their teeth and "just another disgruntled driver", OP's initial statement that you have "competitive wages" is BS even after adding all the silly bonus pennies together to make .34, which is nowhere near "competitive".

Lol, I think he was just trying to be straight with the guy about how much freight moves that direction. That's a heck of a lot better than making promises of home time and not delivering.

Are you looking for a job, or just trying to insult a man that is offering employment to an otherwise unemployed driver? Instead of an attempt at being informative, your post resemble a drive-by gouging. If you aren't interested in the position, that's fine, but why linger around and try to make a stir?
