    USA Truck – Capacity Solutions
This one has a program for drivers, after 6 - 12 mos. with USA Truck, can run off USA Truck's load boards. Pick the loads you want and run where you want to. Ask a recruiter for details on that.

Empire will only train 'Recent Grads'.

USA Truck will only train if verifiable Driving was within last 3 years . Mine is 6.

CFI is good to train but isn't No Touch Freight.

CFI checks all the boxes except NTF. I appreciate your recommendations very much. if you think you have another with NTF i'm all ears. Thank you!!!

Did you contact USA Truck and Empire? Many companies bend the rules that are on the websites.

I did. They didn't bend lol.

But I did just contact Prime and the said I could go out with a trainer. They are NO Touch freight with a pet policy so this and CFI look good so far...

@Diesel73 -- current hazmat tanker driver here (I haul gasoline and diesel in both GA & FL).....

a good while back, I had an employment "gap" of several years, that many carriers didn't like--but I had a CDL-A, & all the endorsements.

Schneider gave me a chance--when no one else would.

If you find that none other will give you a chance with a refresher--then you might give Schneider a try:

Over-the-Road (OTR) Van Truckload truck driver - 48 states | Top drivers earn up to $83,000 | Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus | Schneider (schneiderjobs.com)

    or

Over-the-Road (OTR) Van Truckload truck driver - home run | Top drivers earn up to $80,000 | Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus | Schneider (schneiderjobs.com)

Since you're in Chattanooga, most likely they would start you out in their Atlanta facility.

When I was doing dry van (or intermodal) work for them, I never had to help unload a trailer.

I did however, sweep out many a trailer....between loads.

After a while with Schneider, you could then move on to better paychecks (and many of course do--including me).
