I think I have a greater chance to win the lottery jackpot 3 times in a row and then get hit by lightning on the way to claim the prizes.

Experienced/adult/mature drivers really don't need the HOS at all. It's for the thugs that don't know how to govern themselves. Plus it's a jobs program for government employees that enforce it.

i applaud this man for stepping out on a limb.. even if he doesnt get it... the point is he tried.. and the point is, he has a point.. those 10 hour breaks dont fit alot of peoples sleep schedules and make them more tired at the end of their shift by having to work within the limits of elogs... the exact behavior they were trying to get rid of with elogs..

Give this man his exemption,
He's been driving 30 YEARS. He can handle a truck just fine.
They really should have ELD's for drivers with less than 5 years of OTR experience.
For someone that's been around and knows how to maneuver a semi, They shouldn't be put through the same regulations as someone that's still new to driving.
Regulations are put in place when someone messes up. What about people who don't mess up? There is no reward system in place for people who drive safe.
Just my 2 cents.Blue jeans, RockinChair, Grumppy and 14 others Thank this.
