Ophthalmologist— wanted to see if I qualify for the LASIK and I don’t— still at slight prescription for far and about 2.75 for near so I got new lenses for my old sunglasses and glasses plus a new set of each — had $1500 on our health savings account that we would have lost July 1 (that’s a whole nother rant against BS that I don’t want to get on) that was promptly taken care of

 

HSA or FSA? Cuz a HSA should accumulate year over year.

I’m not sure — it’s part of the other half’s package— she has so much taken out of her pay and they match up to around 4K but you can only roll over $500 that you don’t use

 

Worked for myself last year, glad for the experience but I'll skip repeating. Not looking for the perfect job, just the one where I'm content and able to take care of things.

That sounds like a FSA. Those suck. LOL HSA however are good. But you need a high deductible plan for those. Which are good. If you're healthy. But bad if you're not.
