if ur gonna argue against cameras in trucks. DONT go that route u jist tried. however cameras in sleeper birth where u have expectation of privacy that would be illegal.
most drivers prefer no cameras from what i seen. some comapnies that dont use cameras will be a selling point to recruit more drivers. cameras do not always increase company safety scores it only improves clarity of situations which may show driver do stuff not supposed to etc. caught speedong maybe when he wouldnt of without the cameras etc. can work against the trucking companies as much or more than work for them as far as safety scores.Last edited: Jun 14, 2022

And out trucks get 8.5-9 mpg loaded @ 78,000 lbs. Take that and smoke it -
I’ve had three Freightliner Cascadias with automatic transmissions fail-the last one the gears had actually split in the housing-took 5 days for Detroit to send a replacement transmission under warranty and another day and a half to program it. My current truck (KW T-680 with the Eaton Endurant 12 speed automatic transmission) is starting to show signs of issues (hesitation to go into gear-transmission gear indicator flashes gear number for about 2-3 seconds before engaging) with only 190,000 miles on the clock.
