If you don’t have one , you will wish you did when something happens.

I got a ticket a couple years ago when I was making a right turn and some idiot tried to pass me on the right .

    no dash cam .
I would have paid $1000 for the video .
Would have saved me three trips to court .
The ticket got dismissed but it took me losing three days of work to do it .

Can you afford the increase in your insurance? The way things are now you need to keep your license clean. Call Road Law. About $900 up front but I’d be willing to bet that is all you will need to pay.

My dashcam saved me 3 time from BS speeding tickets in Bakersfield, dropping off Tehachapi. And the judge was very happy to watch the videos.
One of them had a to%# head lock up his brake that were now on fire (actual fire not just smoke) and I went out around him back into the right lane, never went over 55, beacuse there was a female LEO in the center divider turning around. You would think (and so did the judge) that she should have gone to the burning vechile, instead she pulled me over. He laughed a litlle then dismissed the ticket, told her meet me in my chambers.

Sorry first glad you are okay.In most all cases if a cop Didnt see what happened it’s just his opinion on what happened and will not hold up in court and if no other witnesses it will just be dismissed in court. But if you do want to keep it off your record I would hire a lawyer if you represent yourself the judge in some cases will ask you to plead to a lower charge and a lawyer has the knowledge to get it dismissed.Sorry I didn’t catch it’s a old post

Those 4 points, the accident and the increase in your personal insurance cost are going to cost you for 3 yrs if not longer, not to mention it's on your safer syst as well.

Seems to me, the last picture you posted says it all. Just looking at the rubber drag mark, clearly shows the not tracking properly.
