No one is here to prove anything. We are here to inform all of a danger in a design in a truck that drivers across the roads are driving. Spread the word maybe you will
Be that person to save a driver from harm. Safe travels. TY

I’m not a Timberland sales person or know anyone at Timberland at all. What I do know is that driver would of lost his two feet if it had not been for the boots his children bought him that year for Father’s Day. Look at the distinct line on his legs the white part is where the boots covered. I will pass on the info you mentioned here about other dangers. It is important thanks for informing us. Faulty designs should not be injuring workers horrifically and if everyone saids nothing.... nothing gets done. If everyone saids something.... something has got to be done. TY

Thank you for spreading the word. This is a clear danger exposing them to possible harm. These hoses need to be enclosed.

If you,re going to pass the word on to drivers, then also pass the word on to mechanics to check the hoses more than once every 15 years

They're pretty much the standard for cement mixer trucks. So, probably more than a few people drive them...... Screenshot_20220625-031557.png

Gee, I wonder where 'Oshkosh'; a specialty manufacturer that produces a small number of chassis, mostly for the construction trade, got the marketing budget to subvert so many people to be 'bloggers'...I haven't seen my paycheck yet...Their vast surplus income must be larger that Paccar and Freightliner from subverting safety standards????? They must be spreading it all around elsewhere.

The root cause is still maintenance.

Anyone who feels the need to attack everyone responding and the need to like their own posts has an issue.

If the burns pictured were on the job then the treatment came from Workmens compensation meaning the injured person cannot file suit against the employer; the very entity responsible for the mantenance of the vehicle in quesion.

Why else would there be such a rabid desire to make the chassis manufacturer responsible?

Long past time for this post to close as it is over 50 posts that do little except sling 'Oshkosh blogger' accusations which is way beyond the intent of 'warning' anyone.

Let's stop wasting the bandwidth and move on.

Among front-loaders perhaps, but down here Beck and McNeilus rear-loaders are pretty much the only thing you see on the road - and they're everywhere.
