Brokers, Please explain the plummeting rates these days.

You love to put people on ignore. It's almost like you can't actually defend your position, so you throw a fit. Just like a typical billy bigrigger

 

Words can't describe the pain I felt when I read this message Mr. ProfessionalNoticer, but somehow, some way, I shall manage to soldier on.

 

I was happy when he put me on ignore. I like pushing the buttons of professional whiners. His screen name was just a coincidence.

I think a better title for this thread would have been; "Why Are Brokers Such Liars?"

 

A broker is not going to be the reason a trucking company goes under. Dumb ### drivers do that to themselves by making stupid business decisions every week. Especially with rates returning to normal. But those whiny folks will blame everyone but themselves.

 

OP: Why are rates dropping?
Brokers: Supply and demand.
OP: but fuel is up
Brokers: but there are less loads so the rates are going down.

I saw so many double brokered loads posted today. Real scumbags out there. A mega would have something posted for 2700 and a bottom feeder "broker" with bad credit would have it posted for 2300. Some loser sitting on her couch in her pjs too lazy to get her own accounts hoping to find a sucker.

 

It's also likely that that's not actually a broker. A lot of scammers out there posing as brokers and even trucking companies by using someone's MC# and then flipping the load to their "brokerage". That's also illegal.
