Yes the configuration has a huge amount of adjustment.
Most of the company Configurations are set to extreme annoyance unfortunately which doesn't help anymore.

The problem with adaptive on trucks is even at the closest distance setting it’s still to far away from the vehicle in front so when you go to pass them with not that much power you have a good size line of traffic behind you waiting and waiting for you to get up to speed to pass. I saw it on YouTube. With regular cruise you can get closer and close the gap when you pass.

Another Canadian driver and Tb0n3 Thank this.

you can still get cruise control online if the radar is unplugged.

all you have to do is click on/off 3 times on the cruise control button and keep it on on the 4th light up. Click set and your good to go. There’s a video on YouTube,

All you have to do on a Volvo is unplug it. Cruise control still works.

if it’s working I wouldn’t touch it. Adjust your driving habits to accommodate the beeps is better than making things Inoperable on a working system. You never know what code it will throw going down the road costing your thousands to figure it out.

I mean that's true I guess but you could also buy a truck that doesn't have any of this BS. That's what I did. If you're a company guy, don't work for a company that has that stuff on their trucks.
