I may have the potential to haul directly with a nursery company pulling their dry vans with liftgates with my tractor. (My Authority)
Preloaded trailer every morning ready by 3am. Carts and Trees mixture.
3-5 stops per day driver unload with liftgate load empty carts back
Drive back and be home daily M-F
Farthest one way is about 250 miles.
Intrastate
Closest one way is about 130 miles.
They do Shutdown for about 6 weeks during winter.
I'm trying to get an idea of around how much this kind of work pays as im currently pulling a flatbed and dont have any idea on rates for this type of business.
Thanks!

1300 to 1500 per day now that rates are down. Don’t forget how high fuel is, it’s still your own authority, and tailgating is no joke all day everyday. During the height of rates this could have been upwards of $2000 per day. Don’t cut yourself short.
Rideandrepair, Sirscrapntruckalot, Siinman and 2 others Thank this. -
I never have either. I won't work if the truck isn't grossing minimum $1500 a day. I prefer $2000 a day or better. If you're the only one willing to work out in this heat, which I suspect most won't, you have an excellent advantage.
I'd hit it at $5 a mile all miles plus so much per cart. Maybe more after I did some research.
Of course I could be way high or low, I've seen alot of wild rates in both directions. The lows won't be around next year and the highs only work half the year. I prefer the latter.MandoDub Thanks this. -
