Yes they live almost forever we still have a d73t around here that we clean some dry dams and things with…it’s roughly 80 years old
Here’s some pics of my old 950. One of the handiest things around here. I sure wish it didn’t have the pos cab. that 2 post would be much nicer for most of what we do with it

Ni e, I have some, I purged a lot of parts a few years ago also. Was suppose to be done with old bikes... lol
I have a problem..

 

I had my old frankenkawi ballistic death machine and all my wreckage and spares up in the back of the barn. I raced a ‘74 Z1 with a ‘78 KZ 1000 engine until I decided trucks were way less likely to kill me.

 

I've had the motorcycle disease since I was a toddler. Worked at a Kawasaki shop sweeping floors and cleaning wrenches at 10 or so. I was done.
This is the lowest bike count I've had in many years, I currently have 6.
I sold a bunch because I bought an 86 Square body I'm going to restore and needed the room, but the bikes always come first... wife just shakes her head.

 

If you’re up at Shubie on a track day watch for my old bike. Kid that has it now lives near Petitcodiac and his dad tells me he’s got it running with that in mind.

A fella was asking about going into the Great White North pulling his tandem spread. A regulation was linked, & I "thought" I read 9100kg was cited as max legal limit for the sum of the two 10'1" spread axles. Must have misinterpreted. Thank you for the correction..

 

Depending on where he was going that could have been right.
BC says that is right 9100kg (20000lbs).
Alberta "may" give you to 37500lbs (17000kg).
In Saskatchewan and Manitoba again they say 9100kg (20000lbs) but are somewhat lax in enforcing it except near larger centers.
I know that Ontario and Quebec recognize the spread to at least 18000kg (39700lbs) and that the maritime provinces follow suit.
This is to my knowledge and may be up to 4 years out of date but I have not heard of any major changes to date.

 

On/Qc a tandem 72” and over gets 19,100kg out of TAC, so 48’ or 51’ trailers. And right there is the root of all those 51’ trailers. With a 53’ trailer you get 5500, 17,000, 17,000 on 5 axles. If you saw off the useless 2’ of deck ahead of the pin so it’s 51’. 5500, 18,000, 18,000. That could only make sense to the Onterrible government.
