My maternal Grandfather was a jack of all trades and was really good at working with wood. He built many of these small tables I call TV dinner tables going back to the 1940s. My mother had 6 of them. Over time 5 of those 6 were destroyed. Today there is only 1 left and I own it. Grandpa's workmanship was so good that the only thing I had to do is get the legs reinforced so they could hold weight. I still use it today.

 

Haven't seen any of those Trays for 50 years
