If theres 1 load i could haul on flatbed and never have to do anything else. Make good money in a perfect world. Would be shingles or mortar. Gravy gig.

 

I know where you could move to and haul shingles every day for the rest of your life.

 

Wow, there's a lot of travel in the rear suspension of that thing.

 

Chatfield towing, $450. They sent two trucks, one to anchor the rear.of the trailer with a big ### strap, and another to winch on the front of the truck. I'm kicking myself. This trailer is brand new as of March but this tow did a small number on it. Must have bent the bracket to my side box because that fell off during a right turn. Bent the mud flap and the rear bumper, and bent the whole #### trailer about an inch to the driver side.

HUGE job, there’s gotta be at least 6 truckloads of steel at the other end waiting to unload…

 

Is it good money? Usually easy loads are not even worth the time or effort.

 

It's not bad, 3-5 a mile depending on where and weight. When they get real busy they will pay round trip.

 

Out of TN, taking northern route to Cali...

 

I'm heading back to that neck of the woods just so I can grab another load tomorrow! Man, that's got to be the most organized and polite outfit I've ever loaded at. Moving a truck out and in every five minutes.
