Safety groups call for 60 mph speed limiters on trucks

    60 mph Class 3-6 Trucks along with NHTSA rear-underride rule to take effect in 2023
    will certainly help INCREASE DEATHS ON HIGHWAYS and Secondary Roads.

    Why Not just create "super trailers" based upon Military Heavily Reinforced Equipment??
    Side Shielding (with some flexibility) to eliminate run under as well when entering/exiting some many locations and side shielding with flexibility (for access to Tires) yet to also cover Tandems.

    Seems feasible after ingesting some federally approved herbal "medicines" and "Tonics" to "clearly see the entire picture". o_O:confused::(

    Didn’t the Supreme Court recently rule, that gooberment agencies don’t have the authority to set rules, regulations, mandates, etc.? That can only be done by our elected representatives, and then actually signed by the executive?

    The threshold to have a CDL is artificially too low.
    And that's a major problem.

    Drive 60 in CA in a 55 zone and you'll be fine.
    Drive 60 in WY, TX or UT in a 80 zone and you'll probably get a citation.

    There were almost no cars on the Interstates on March and April 2020.
    Do you still remember the lockdowns?

    That's a great line.
    Have you tried it with a State trooper?
    I recommend a California State trooper.
    All their scales have jail cells too.
    Just in case you need accommodations.

    Down speeding.
    Volvo can safely run at 1100 RPM.
    Perfectly safe with a turbo compound system.
    Lots of torque. And very quiet,
