Serious question that needs an answer. Why do so many truck drivers just bend over and take it?

That fried corn ain't no joke. It's like biting into something fried and then it gets all chewy and gooey in your teeth. And by the way godfather makes a killer thin crust. I called in and ordered one The other day

Would it be safe to argue that there probably weren’t fat drivers “back then”

Everyone pretty much already touched on what I was thinking.

But I will say this. Why do you care about others and what they do? Go on prove your metal, put in the work put in the effort and don't take no crap. Live by it.

Ain't no sense in cutting others down for it. Heck you don't even know their situation. You do not know what fulfills others. You do not know by what standards they live. Some folks need a lot and some folks don't need much. You got a family to feed you'll do a heck of a lot of things. And there ain't no shame in that. So many people these days can't go one week without a check or they are homeless. Sometimes they are screw ups and sometimes they are in a situation that is no fault of their own.

Bottom line is some folks don't know how good they have it. And some folks don't know how bad they have it. Some never seem to find that better way.

You are thrown into life without an instruction manual and it takes way too much time sometimes to figure it out. Some of us are lucky enough to have folks that smarten us up real early some ain't.

And it doesn't really matter which generation, there have always been doormats. And there will always be folks that'll tell you exactly what they think of you like it or not. And vote with their feet if necessary. Or fists fists are an option. So are lawyers.

    All's I know is I'm good.

Truck drivers are just a PART of the supply chain. If ANY part of that system goes down, we all go down. If the refinery/pipeline/oil field guys all said "hell with it..." Trucks would stop. If the forklift guys just stopped working, there would be a lot of empty trucks. You people that act like truck drivers are just single handedly keeping the economy going just amuse the hell out of me. No one part of this whole mess is that important.

I think it would weed out a lot of the chaff that currently overpopulates this job, so that’s one benefit.

Dumbing and lazying any job down only serves to lower the standards of what qualifies for that job.
