Should’ve told him “you better watch out….I will cry and you will have to comfort me” works everytime. They usually give you a $100 bill and offer their lunch.
My first time threatened with having the police called on me

Should have unzipped your pants and started pissing all over the floor, then tell him, "Now you got something to call the cops about."

After making direct site deliveries of office furniture, store fixtures, kitchen cabinets to any manor of construction site for 30 years, and then graduating to specialty trailers, entertainment stuff, stages, generators, catering trailers for 15 more, I cannot begin to tell you the number of ######## like this guy I have run into.
1. All the drivers come in this way
2. What do you mean you can't drive in the mud
3. We need it backed up against that building (the one with the 8 foot deep trench in front of it
etc.
They need the stuff more than I.
Time to get the telephone wires hot. Take the name of Mr. Congeniality, call operations, offer to send some photos of the situation.
Eventually you will get this man's boss involved, get his rear in a real sling.
Under NO circumstances will I
1. damage my equipment , or the company trailer
2. damage surrounding property and be charged for an accident.kemosabi49, Opus, Siinman and 11 others Thank this. -
There's always one hard ### on the jobsite and it's usually the one in charge. the only successful way to overcome their hardassedness is to double it back to them. Because they ain't gonna do #### . And they needed their product yesterday.Siinman, Gearjammin' Penguin, Rideandrepair and 7 others Thank this. -

The moral of the story is there’s nice people out there that we’re gonna run into and there’s the polar opposite. I have truly learned to bite my tongue and keep my comments to myself when dealing with rude and disrespectful shippers and receivers. It’s just not worth it to call them out.
Trucker61016, Rideandrepair, seamutt and 2 others Thank this. -
I have a driver who dealt with what the op did, instead of taking a berating, he told the assistant dock manager that he will need the cops because he is going to beat his ****** for the disrespect and yelling at him. The guy shut up and told him what his dock is then added take any entrance he wants.
