How many of you idiots are running reefer for less than $2 a mile?

These brokers are playing games to get us normalized with these rates.
Most Reefer haulers would deadhead then take 2$/mile loads.
They keep that crap.

 

Oh God. Another whine about people taking cheap freight. Don't you think you could have just added to one of the other ten threads? SMH

not that I’ve taken one that low in ~2 years now, can’t even drive it down the road for $1.60 a mile

 

Nobody made you read it. You could tell by the header what the post was about. So you read it, knowing and understanding what it meant, and didn't like the content of the post, and now you're whining about it?

LOL He liked mine too. I guess he'd prefer that they keep it in his threads. I swear it's the sky is falling all the time. Plus thinking that whining about how others operate is going to change how they do it. I forget who said it. But the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

If people can operate and make a profit they are comfortable with at $2 or even less. Nothing these people are saying is gonna change that.

Heck, as contractor I was getting 1.04/mile + FSC and still clearing a comfortable 1500-1750 a week. Which based on my costs was a big profit for me. But I don't have the insurance and authority expenses. But still. One example.

Very specific, but for me 3/mile min. And most times I would rather sit. Reefer commodity for chump change and a whole lot of responsibility. It can sit on the dock till it's worth the risk
