This. Just put employer, title/position held, start date, end date, Subject to FMCSA or not. That's all they need to know.

He could also be an "on-call" employee vs "part-time.
You know more about this than I do though.

I agree and honestly it's what i do during downtime between employers waiting for a good opportunity.

My experience only applying to Halvor Lines is that they wanted the last 3 years and while i had a year covered and verifiable they didn't want to take the time to verify my professional references. These are people with verifiable organizational emails and phone numbers.

My guess is that this is why they were so interested in hiring me in the beginning and then ghosted me later. Regardless Lual had perfect advice, moving on to my second application and so on/forth.

I don’t believe this post, there’s no trucking companies out there that are not at least in the $.40 per mile range. In fact you’ll find very few that are under $.50 per mile now…

    1st year drivers average .48-.52
3 year clean record is now over .60cpm

come on Original poster, are you sure that wasn’t miles for when you’re training? Nobody’s paying $.23 per mile for the first six months.

I had to look it up to make sure and sure enough, I made a mistake and got my numbers backwards. It's 32 cents per mile for TransAm not 23. Still garbage!

TMC is a bunch of picky nose in the air pricks like Prime. They did you a favor rejecting you. Plenty more around the corner.

Trans Am is probably the worst trucking company ever in the history of human mankind. They let a driver freeze to death on the road not too long ago. They are as corrupt and cheap as they come. Stay far away

That is some terrible working conditions when your employees are literally dying from exposure. I believe I heard about this a few years ago, just sad, sick, and infuriating that the poor man died. Thank you for the heads up that this is TransAm that took his life, even more reason I'll steer far and wide away from them.

That's a simple online complaint to OSHA. Doesn't mean you wont get canned for "other" reasons but better than freezing to death.

I had AT&T try the same crap, told me i had to climb in company approved gear. It was -45 with wind chill. Told the boss i didn't get the cheap cotton/poly branded deathstar parka yet, the truth, but feel free to write me up for wearing my Carhartts and expect another OSHA complaint.

No one wants to be on the Feds radar ESPECIALLY with labor friendly politicians in office.
