I got 2 more loads in Indiana, Monday will be a paver, tomorrow will be 2 smooth rollers. Paver is 10’-8” so it will be permitted…..

 

Boys were saying they run on the heavy side… so, ehhh. If nothing else it’s some extra pay on an easy run with no width.

 

I was over groupings Had to move machine reweigh and then slide fifty three notches. I got it figured out. 79960 gross. Same truck as you

I worked with a man who was 60 years old who was just like that when I was 18 for part of a summer, he was a contract welder/ heavy mechanic. That man could cut a bearing race off a shaft and out of the housing of our screen vibrator in 5 to 7 min after pulling the cover without marking either. He was a magician with hard-facing rods building "traction" on conveyor drive end rollers. I was a replacement loader operator who was designated helper when he was on site.
The plant operator was the same age and did not know how to hold a wrench but knew that wash plant so well that nothing broke, he heard a noise or felt a vibration that was not right and shut it down before any major damage happened.
