That’s hard news— don’t take this the wrong way and hope she understands, but get right with the Ol Man and we’ll all meet up one of these days

@MACK E-6 would you believe I bought a Mossberg Patriot from academy chambered in 308 for like $500 including tax, came with a Vortex Crossfire 2 scope (the vortex scope is what made it a good deal for me due to their no bs warranty) and the package boiled down to basically a $300 rifle, a $200 scope and $10 scope mount and rings LMAO dear god I would love to punch whoever did that sheet right in the nuts and especially whoever put the gosh darn mount on because that mf stripped 3 of the 4 cheap arse screws and my equally stupid arse thought with my 8k worth of carpentry equipment I could just take my hammer drill and take off the head with a metal bit, then somehow twist it off with pliers... well now there ain’t nothin’ left to grab! Idk how the hell to get a screw out that’s down in the threads  I shot it once or twice, pretty good gun for the money minus the rings/mount, has a little play in the bolt which gives you less room for error when cycling the bolt but with practice it’s not too bad; it’s got one of those 3 lb triggers with the little safety trigger ahead of the main one

In my experience anything under $100 for a rifle that’s a major part ya might as well throw it into a mf lake

I'm not sure but I wouldn't be surprised. Before DSV, the company I was with was called Sammons trucking. Dsv bought them out a couple years before I went there. They are definitely trying to expand in big way in USA. I know they have a huge operation overseas

How would you take it off? Just tie a knot and undo it to keep it all in one piece?

@D.Tibbitt do you have to buy your own straps, binders, chains, etc at DSV? And how much should you put back for the truck? Half or a quarter of each paycheck?

CAXPT, cke, PoleCrusher and 3 others Thank this.

They provide all equipment if u want new stuff or u can provide your own. The cost is added to your total truck payment at orientation. Also the way they do truck payments is its not a fixed payment like most... Each month when ur settlement comes, U pay urself 30% of the linehaul and pay all expenses related to truck and trailer then your profit left over goes towards paying off the truck.i had a couple months I was over 10k in truck payments(profit).helps get that truck paid off faster if u run hard. It also helps out if u need a repair done that takes a week or more dont have a payment to make with no revenue that week.. All expenses are automatically deducted from ur revenue... Money is loaded onto your comdata card or can be direct deposited. 48 hrs after u turn in ur paperwork and its cleared. I paid off 90k worth of truck in less than 2 years. But understand i lived on the road for most of that time. Last year before i left, i was top 5 in gross revenue for the entire fleet (250+ trucks) and only running 3 states with a flatbed , while everyone else was pulling stepdeck oversize stuff and talking #### saying to me why u running cheap mulch and rock loads. They had no idea what we had going on. Add that to the hos exempt firefighter trailers we were pulling during the fire season, we made really good money. I remeber doing 30k in 2 weeks straight last June. All legal dim loads. But some will say thats impossible. Thats the best way to run there. Find someone u like to work with and get on something where u running the same #### over and over and watch that truck payment disappear
