Can anyone recommend any good trucking schools in the Middle Tennessee Area? I have my CLP, 1-Year DOT Medical Card (restricted to one year due to HBP), no tickets, and no criminal record. Should I go through company paid CDL training or go to my local TCAT (community college).
Also, will having a 1-Year DOT Medical card due to mental health issue and HBP restrict me in terms of employment?
Thanks

If you can go here, then do that. Community colleges have an excellent reputation for high quality cdl training.

Also, in Shelbyvile the state vocational tech school TCAT offers CDL school for about $2100. There may be a waiting list. ANY CDL SCHOOL is ok. It's just a course to pass state driving test. Find a company you want to work for before going to CDL school. -
Chinatown Thanks this.
