    But...let's play along....
if you'd be given a choice of either getting a truck and trailer of your dreams, price does not matter...AND free manufacturere warranty AND free fuel for the life of the truck (trailer covered too) OR 7 to 10 odds of winning that lottery last weekend, what whoud you rather choose?

I think I would take the rig with forever warranty and free fuel.

    Siinman and 86scotty Thank this.

One thing for sure...I could show everyone how one can be successful pulling cheap freight.
All you need to do is to stay healthy to drive the truck and trailer of your dreams: I think my choice would be volvo with that extended cab where you have kitchen and bathroom inside... or maybe a classic KW with the same sort of house like cabin to earn more adoration...lol.
I'd take my wife on the always highly profitable trips and we could cruise like that forever and ever.

If I won the lotto I probably wouldn't do much more trucking, but just because I've always dreamed of it I might custom order a brand new tractor with an ARI sleeper, matched decked out trailer and all the trimmings just to enjoy it for a while.......like about a month. They I'm gone, fellas. I'm long gone.

I think my quizzical question wasn't understood properly....:(

You have two options presented by an Angel of Fortune:
Option 1. A free truck and trailer of your dreams which
    -has a lifetime warranty
-has a lifetime fuel supply for free

Option 2. You have 7 : 10 odds of winning the lottery ticket of $1.3 Billion

Do you gamble or do you have the easiest life of an Owner Operator in the World by accepting option one from the Angel of fortune. There are no strings attached, it is a gift.

How you would explain it to IRS or DOT as to how you acquired that equipment worth of $500 000(?) is a tricky question to answer by itself. Saying that the Angel of Fortune gave it to you might not be enough. And what about free fuel and IFTA?

This is a sleeper that an OTR truck driver deserves.
How many days and nights out of home, did I spend laying mostly flat on my back in the compact sleeper of my volvo 670?
Sleeping, waiting, eating, dreaming, contemplating, awaiting for something, time killing...not really locked down by force but locked down by trucker's life fate...?
If you count it all, all the hours combined, it might be equal to quite a long prison sentence time.

I’d take the odds. 70% chance of winning a billion? Heck yeah!

If you took it as a lump sum it would be less that 1 billion...after taxes maybe around $500 000 million.
